Happy Birthday Mom!

WOW! What a month! While working and doing countless hours of homework and projects for Grad School, I have been secretly planning my Mom's Surprise 50th Birthday Bash! The hard work paid off for sure! Mom was SO surprised to find many of her friends and family waiting for her at the Sebastian Yacht Club to celebrate her being 50 & Fabulous! Not only did we throw her a party, John graciously allowed me to fly in my Uncle Kevin from New York, whom my Mom loves and misses dearly. With the help of my kind students and their iPhones, we found Uncle Kevin, coordinated his time off, transportation and down to sunny Florida he flew! Mom was blown away when he turned the corner to give her a big hug and share her big day! Enjoy the photos! John and I enjoyed all the smiles and happy tears! It was a weekend full of memories and love for our family :) Happy Birthday Mom!!

Always with love,

Christmas '08

It's Christmas Time! We may have a small family, but we are truly blessed to have the family we have! We had a wonderful time spending our Holiday Season with such loving family and friends. John, Patches, Coco, and I were graciously given so many wonderful things and we were able to share special moments with those we love. Thank you everyone for sharing this special time of the year with us and for making it so special! You can definitely expect another Christmas Party in '09 as we will hopefully have several "big" things to celebrate...and yes Theresa, if we're lucky, I'll be drinking water for the reasons you were shouting out this past party :) Plus...Mom hooked us up with so many BEAUTIFUL christmas decorations and dishes to be used next year :)

Thank you again and we wish you a wonderful New Year!

Higher Education

Novemeber sure was a busy month for us. Not only did we celebrate our 7th year as a couple, but we also celebrated Kelly's birthday, Thanksgiving, and Kelly started Grad School through Full Sail University! She has always wanted to work for her masters degree. Since we aren't in a place to have children yet, this seemed like the perfect time and opportunity to reach this goal. John might be next! He is looking into obtaining his MBA in Engineering Management, fortunately his company will reimburse him :) Kelly is getting her master of science is education media design and technology in an accelerated 1 year program, thesis and all! You might not hear from her for a while but this will hopefully provide her the tools she needs to make her mark on the world! :) She is also so thankful to her loving husband and supportive family and friends through this new, challenging education adventure!
That's all for now. We wish you all happy holidays ahead and a happy and prosperous 2009.

Kelly's Birthday

One year closer to the big 3-0, but who's counting!? I had a great birthday and it was all thanks to my amazing Husband, wonderful Mom, and truly awesome friends for making it memorable. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon cruising the Treasure Coast Inter-Coastal. We laughed, reminisced and enjoyed John's delicious Margaritas! We spent the evening talking over delicious seafood at my favorite Sebastian hot spot, Captain Hirams. Definitely shared laughs as we people watched in the SandBar. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday back home!

With love,
Kelly

Catching Up

It has been a while since our wedding, when we were able to see ALL of our close friends and our families. Many haven't been able to see us on a regular basis, so I have put together a slideshow of some of our favorite memories in the last two and half years. Hope to keep this updated, we are SO busy these days!
